I guess my subject says it all. I'm watching this one about the Russian woman. I keep thinking: is this scripted or is this story real, and most importantly of all is all that I'm seeing sponteneousely happening or fake? Artistic documentary, these words come to mind.

It's not bad, pretty interesting, and depressing. As a man I find it interesting waht she has to say about men and women, and how she exposes her life.

Like a lot of "documentaries" these days it did come across to me as at least partially scripted in places. Some situations seemed downright staged. Some parts were a little bizarre. Or too convenient. It wasn't all the way spontaneous or authentic. There was some "storytelling" as opposed to documenting going on.

It was a documentary much like reality TV is documentary perhaps? "Artistic documentary"? Maybe.
