How do the other American Girl movies compare?

Let me begin by saying I am NOT the target audience for this movie. I'm a man in my 50's! I have young nieces and nephews, but no children of my own. I would guess most adults probably see this due to watching it with children, but I actually watched it purely on my own. And I liked it ... a lot. This movie has a very tightly woven, well paced story, and teaches some good values too. Obviously it was cute, but not overly cutesy.

I did not know until I saw it on imdb that there are several other American Girl movies. So my question is: are any of the other movies as good? Or is this pretty much the standout in terms of quality? I direct this question to people who can sympathize with my perspective as an adult, discriminating viewer.

It's also refreshing how clean this movie was. Don't get me wrong though; that alone would not have been enough to win me over.
