After watching this movie I wondered if the husband and wife got back together again. They certainly got along a lot better during and after their daughter was found. I also can't believe that the mother of the kidnapper is that dense. Doesn't she wonder what her son is up to or even go into his room? If her son wouldn't have died then he could have been prosecuted for kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment.
