English Subtitles Need To Be Redone!

Saw this at the Tribeca film festival, the subtitles desperately need to be redone. First off, at one point the word car is misspelled, as kar. The word "pudding," was used when someone gave someone else candy when appropriate word would have been dessert. There were also a few words used in description that are rarely used by everyday English speakers, and only seen in literature and sounded very awkward in the film.

Also it seemed to go back and forth between UK English, using the word "flat" to describe what North America would be an apartment, and mum, for what in North America would be mother. To a North American audience these sound very, British. Later it lapses into North American English, using the word theater to describe what would be a cinema in the UK, and giving it the US spelling of theatER, as opposed to the UK's theatRE. Not sure how this should be handled by the translator, but I think if the first English speaking country where it is going to premiere is going to be in North America, use North American phrasing.
