So I gave The Border a chance...

I downloaded some episodes and I rarely turn anything off, I like to see stuff through in case there's some (man i cant think of the word) moment, but 3/4 of the way into the first episode I had to shut it down.

I'm sure it gets better as the season goes on and I don't like to be too negative but wow, in contrast to Intelligence, this shows terrible with its cliche characters and spoon fed, straight from the headlines, trying to be current storyline. I just couldn't stay with it.

No offense to anyone. Not that the creators would care, it's obviously not written for any awards outside of the popularity category. I'm sure it works well for those viewers who prefer their TV lite, which seems to be the majority and I suppose it is them who pay the bills. Not that CBC would know anything about making money, last I checked the Intelligence Season 1 dvd still isn't on store shelves.
