I'm waiting so desperately to witness another sci-fi masterpiece. I have collected most of their originals. This movie looks to be good. I hope they can add good acting and maintain the story, unlike hollywood. And the special graphics for this movie have looked impressive so far on the commercials. I hope sci-fi does well on this original. They are the ones that make movies for people fed up with the trash spewing from hollywood.

From the look of the trailer/promo spot on the Sci Fi website, it looks to be a cracking film, and a step above regular dreck like Dragon Storm. Was it any good?

Somehow, I have missed the promo of this film until seeing it in tonight's listings. I'm glad it will be on since we US folk apparently are going to miss general distribution of the other live-action version of Beowulf. Nothing against animation, but this is a "grown-up" story worthy of real actors, and I'm glad we have another option. Looking forward to it!
