no you moron it means disgust. 3araf with a "ein" (some arabic letter u cant pronounce) is the one that means "knew".

in Egypt we say "Araf" as "Disgust", "3eref" is "Knew".

So when we say "Eih el-araf dah?!" it means "WTF is this crap?!"
