What happened? I thought it was to be released last weekend (3 days ago)???

I had no idea this film existed until I saw it on the IMDB home page just now.

Ditto! And I loved the original! My family were practically obsessed with it for a while. Hey, as long as it has Patrick Warburton, I'll be happy.

I've been waiting for this film since references first appeared here years ago.
But I had no idea it was near completion until the Burger King ad.

As for the lack of advance publicity, that's more a matter of not having the budget for advance PR. Plenty of good films have no advance PR, far more really bad films have plenty of advance PR.
