I bet most of the people on this board who are saying this movie sucks are only saying that because it flopped. No offense but some of you people are like sheep following the flock.If this movie had been a box office hit, there would be alot of postive threads.It seems whenever A movie flops at the box office people on imdb give it bad reviews and say that the movie sucked. Box office sucess does not equal to being a good movie.
For the record, I hated this movie because of many reasons, certainly not because it flopped. I like plenty of movies that aren't popular. It had too many adult references, the characters veered too far from their original purpose, the humour was un-funny and it felt like the story had been written & rewritten over & over until it became what was released, which, I hate to use the "s" word, but it wasn't very good, IMO.

shareI sort of agree. But I think there are other reasons, including that it is a let-down after the first one. Also, I saw it in 2D, but I think people seeing it in 3D were doubly disappointed. I can't imagine that animation looking anything but annoying in 3D.
In 2D, I think it's 7/10.
No, people hated it because it's a pretty dire movie (which also explains the poor BO).
