How big is Barbara Steele's role?

Anyone know?

Why would she come out of retirement for...this? The cast also lists Tippi and Robert Loggia and Elvira, yet the rest of the cast is comprised of people who have worked on his previous films. Maybe it's like Ribcage, where the movie isn't done filming yet, but the filmmaker has lofty ambitions that he has already tried to cement by updating the IMDb page?

You could never be Agent Cooper--not even for your mom's XMAS party!

I think you'll find your answer below. I guess Barbara's part looks tacked on to the credits because her scenes were filmed later on. Either way, it will be great seeing her in something new, won't it? I'm really surprised she doesn't act more often.

Hello, this is the director speaking for the film. I had finished the movie and it was "in the can", when I had met Ms. Steele at a friend's party in Hollywood. I was telling her about this film and how I did a satire on the entertainment industry, when she expressed interest in doing a bit for a movie of mine sometime in the future, so my mind started clicking. I went home that night and wrote a 3 minute/page role for her and sent her the script. She replied two days later and said she would love do the movie. It's all about liking the script and the role. She is my favorite horror star of all time and it was a real pleasure meeting her and working with her. Her scene and the one with Robert Loggia really ROCK the middle of the film. This is a film like IT'S A MAD MAD MAD WORLD, where the guest stars come in and do 3 minutes bits as legitimate characters. Ronn Moss and Tippi Hedern are the only stars that appear throughout this movie. Thank you for expressing interest in this movie. We will have a World Premiere in Beverly Hills in early March for it.

Thank you for the quick response! Barbara's one of my favorite horror stars too and I'm very happy to see her in a new project, even if it will only be for a few minutes. Unfortunately I'm an East Coaster so I probably won't a chance to check out the movie until it comes out on DVD. But I definitely look forward to it. Very good cast (Steele, Tippi Hedren, Robert Loggia, William Smith, Kevin McCarthy, Brinke Stevens, Ray Harryhausen, Elvira...) you got together for us horror fans. So what was Barbara like to work with? Any future projects in the works that may have Barbara in them, maybe in a larger role?

Barbara Steele is a joy to work with and a very intelligent person to converse with at all times. I would love to put Barbara in another role in my next film, but I don't know if it will happen again. I have written a part for her. Speaking of casts, HER MORBID DESIRES is one of the four segments of the anthology feature film called THE BONEYARD COLLECTION, which also includes: George Kennedy, Brad Dourif, Susan Tyrrell, Ken Foree, Candy Clark, Jed Rowen, Bobby Boris Pickett, Rachel Melvin, and Forrest J Ackerman. My best to you, Edward
