The (V) next to certain titles on IMDb means direct-to-video. (TV) means direct-to-TV.

(Usually, (V) also means DO NOT RENT/BUY because they are usually terrible movies)

yes. and (VG) means VIDEOGAME

Warner Bros has answered our prayers-- BLADE RUNNER: FINAL CUT--in theaters and DVD in 2007 !

If it's a sequel and it says (V), then yes, one should definitely not rent it. ;)

the 3rd species movie is the same (v) as it didn't do in the cinemas.
