Is there an edited version? The DVD I have doesn't have any special features/deleted scenes and it's only about 86 minutes, and I just saw a gif on tumblr that said it was from Northanger Abbey and it looked like Catherine in a bathtub. Is there a longer version? I would love to see it!

The scene with Catherine in the tub was cut from the PBS showing. I don't have the region 1 DVD, so I don't know if it's on that version. I bought the region 2 DVD because I knew that PBS has a bad habit of slicing and dicing their programs.

I just ordered the Northanger Abbey blu ray from Amazon, it is 92 minutes long. It includes the bathtub scene, which you seem to be missing. There is also a scene with Isabella in Capt. Tilney's bed - not sure if you have that one or not, but I'm guessing it may have been cut from your copy too. Unfortunately, the blu ray doesn't include any other special features. I was hoping for commentary, or other extras.
shareYes, your DVD must be the US edited version (2008, distributed by WGBH; it is the same as the tv version broadcast on PBS in 2008). That version is also missing the sweet, endearing apple-picking scene.
