this is hilarious

I've seen this twice - not in its entirety, but I watched most of it a few nights ago and it was on again tonite but I was interrupted by work obligations.

Did I say it was hilarious? Oh yeah, I did - both times I caught myself saying 'I gotta remember that line that Waters said', but I can't seem to....

I'm not even a big John Waters fan - frankly, I can do without transvestites and pop-movies like Hairspray, but I thought Pecker was very good and Waters does have a very perverse sense of humor which I can relate to.

John Waters is one of those few people who you think is purely idiotic if you look at his early movies, but seems to shine through in his later ones, but it was his early movies I think that made him famous.

Caught it on cable ... hilarious!

I love the part about how happy he was that Farrah Fawcett didn't want to meet him at some Hollywood party.

I'm a big Waters fan ... since the early daze.

I've seen it all the way through, easily some of his funniest stuff. I remember laughing when he reffered to The Passion of The christ as a family S&M movie, wet myself at his fond memories of shoplifting from the library and Record store (Then immediatly topped it by talking about Divine walking out of a department store carrying a chainsaw and a tv). I Wrote down the book titles so I can hopefully find them to read later. Listening to him talk about the other dreamlanders was wonderful (His bit on Edith was fantastic). But the moment that I loved the most above all others was when he talked about how he had shown a copy of Pink Flamingos to his pricon class, a class made up of murderers and after the movie the inmates saying "You're fu**ed up man" which is so perfect and the kind of review any film maker should want to hear.

I so hope he does this again, I love his stories about his youth (I read a great one where he got involved in an accident and had blood on him so he went to a friends house. The friend said "What the hell happened" and John replied "I just killed a man and I've come here to involve you", I really hope thats a true story, cos if it is it's awesome)
