A couple things...

This comedy special came out in 2006 and includes jokes about Michael Jackson and also Farrah Fawcett. Strange how those two would later die on the same day.

I'm surprised the Michael Jackson joke hasn't been excised by Showtime as it's airing all month long. Seems a little bit in poor taste, but so is John Waters brand of humor.

I love this show. Friggin' hilarious every time I watch it. Still trying to figure out what a "plate job" is.

I reckon John insisted they stay in for that very reason, he loves some good contriversy

A plate job is where you lie under a glass coffee table and... play with yourself while someone takes a poop on the table above your face... I learned this from the Dirty Shame DVD I swear

The plate job... I only knew about the "tray job" (oddly enough, an advertising method that Pat Moran invented).

Sometimes I wonder if the fetishes in Waters' films are made up. Then I remember that I've heard of even stranger ones.

Oh I have total faith that every fetish he's ever put in a film is real, the man does his research like nothing else. His film Dirty Shame has an extra feature where they discuss the stuff they researched about and left out of the film (Blossoms spring to mind)
