I hate the movie because its one big rip-off.... watch Superbad, a couple American Pie movies, and you'll see my point.

A remake is Hollywood's way of a lazy sequel, unless Tim Burton does it

It's simple humor, what's not to like? Yeah, it's not Oscar material, but hell!, I were intertained for an hour and a half.
And, then there's the female nudity ;)
I liked the movie, better than the typical college flick imo.

It seems like this college stereotype has been portrayed in many movies, right? But usually the plot was a little bit deeper than that, there was something else going on. Finally they've given up on that and simply made a crude piece of *beep* called "College". *beep*....

I was in China when I downloaded it when I thought I was downloading Sydney White! Yeah, they have to change the titles of movies instead of leaving them, so the Amanda Bynes movie was renamed College in Chinese. Watched less than 10 minutes. That much of the Carter character was too much. Nothing he said was funny. If he hadn't been on at the beginning, I might have watched more because the other 2 boys seemed likable. I deleted it, and was able to find Sydney White after, but watched another movie while it was downloading.

Under our clothes, we are all naked! Bare nipples (of females), genitals or buttocks is nudity.

Why you ask?

Because I'm not a dumb high-schooler/middle-schooler/elementary-school who believes this is even remotely close to what college will be like. Is it any surprise that the highest ratings for the movie are from the under 18 set? The movie seems like it was written by a 10-year-old. I realize that it was just made to entertain, and for its target audience (the "I have yet to take a college course" set), I'm sure it does a fantastic job.

Imagine watching a sports movie such as Major League, and throughout the course of the movie the Indians (the team you're supposed to be rooting for) end up hitting a home run in every at-bat, strike out every batter while on defense, and win every game en route to a championship.

That's what watching College was like. It was too unrealistic to be watchable through to its predictable conclusion. Honestly, if every day of college in real life were booze-filled sex romps with intermittent streaks of public nudity, then I'd be all for the integrity of this movie.

At least American Pie and Superbad reflected plausible interactions and situations. "College" is just plain stupid.

I wanted to punch the fat kid in the head every time his retarded self was on camera. The storyline was entirely unrealistic and offensive to any American as it makes us all look like douchebags, Canadians too, they are close enough and this crappy film could have taken place in BC, though everyone would have been cooler.

Also much of the T&A in this film wasn't even good, if that's all you have to save a movie it better be good, and it wasn't. All the jokes sucked, everyone was annoying. Teague was attempting to be Tyler Durden at one point, which really pissed me off.

This film was a complete waste of time and I feel bad for the producers, who probably took losses on their investments in this film. I hope the fat kid, who is a terrible actor realizes this and does go to college and maybe invests in an education that will get him money in the future, I also hope he loses weight and gets facial hair sometime soon, it must suck to be close to twenty and still not have pubes.

If you enjoyed this movie, you are an enemy of the state and should be brought to a death camp.

Maybe...Maybe Not...Maybe F@ck Yourself

I agree with everything Qman000 has to say.

Thanks for typing all that so that I wasn't forced to.

Thank you Shady and Qman. You did the human race justice.

i agree with shady

where do i start with this film. i'll preface it by saying that i actually like stupid low quality movies about college with boobs such as the american pie series after the american pies (naked mile, beta house, etc.), but this movie was absolutely terrible in every possible way. the main characters were SO ANNOYING and unlikeable. on top of that it was completely unrealistic, no unattractive female would ever hook up with the fat kid or the skinny kid with glasses, let alone the perfect 10 models that APPROACHED them.

the whole movie was magic (fake ids magically appear and college was this fantasy land. this movie is NOTHING like college. on top of this other scenes were gross, as if the stupid scenes and the unlikeable characters weren't enough the movie had to resort to gross out humor that made the film unenjoyable to look at the screen. on top of that every single line of dialogue was cliche and the story line was so played out. of course a movie like this is going to rely on a formula but at least fill in the pieces better (the bad guys were boring, the girls they met were boring, everything was boring.

to sum it up - i can't believe a studio funded this or that professionals spent months of their life working on this garbage, it was that bad.

why not?? some people it wouldnt matter if someone is fat or not

in a situation similar to the matter in which it happened in the movie (no conversation, lust at first site - i think she actually approached him, drank his beer and was like 'lets go upstairs big boy') it would matter if someone was fat or not. you don't instantly want to have sex with someone who is completely unattractive, especially if you are a beautiful model type. i'm not sure who this wouldn't matter to? but that girl would have been with lots and lots of dudes.

Oh hello this is an exaggrated form of College

i'm aware of this i thought it was over the top in this movie and to be honest i really don't mind things like this in 90 percent of movies and will turn my brain off in the name of entertainment, but in this one i thought it was bad enough to take away from the story.

but you are entitled to your own opinion...

I agree with QMan. The fat kid in the movie was so annoying! There was no way either of the other two guys would have been friends with an obnoxious jerk like him. I know we are supposed to suspend disbelief sometimes, but come on! That hot college girl couldn't wait to be alone with that guy? I feel bad for that poor actress.

I thought this movie was *beep* great! Its just as funny as superbad. Better then the last American Pie presents movie

I thought I was suppose to laugh a lot because it's suppose to be funny. I'm 18 going on 19, and I thought this was probably one of the worst movies of the year. The best comedy's of 2008 are Role Models and Zack and Miri. Really that's it. Pineapple Express is stupid, Tropic Thunder it too long.
