Skirmish Mode

There are several things that I dislike about this game.

First of all, the bloody interface for the PC is horrible...

When you press SPACE BAR, you are supposed to get a weapons lock on your target, however, for some reason, the weapons consoles are lit up, but I can't fire the phasers. Also I find that yes phasers while fired in long bursts at close range are good for draining shields, but yet the shields on my target never seem to drain, I just keep seeing their hull turn red. My shields are always dropping...

Also... the biggest beef I have with this game is the inability to select your enemy ship in Skirmish Mode. Now as far as I can see, you can only pick your own ship... if there is a way to select your enemy ship then please someone tell me, because I like to play as a B'rel but there is no way that it could realistically beat a Sovereign class starship.

That's always been the downfall of this game i thought, not being able to decide your enemies ship. As for the combat part, not getting a phaser lock can happen if your not pointing your weapons at the target... strangely i always get the same problem but with the photons. I'm guessing this game was released a little earlier than planned.
