I only have the 360 version of this game, but couldn’t they have had a bonus mission between Kirk and Khan. After all, both starships are available in the game. You have Nebulas in the game that mess with the shields of the ship and you’re targeting systems, it would have been fun.

As a small bonus you can play the demise of the Enterprise C, from the Next generation episode 'Yesterdays Enterprise'. Simply choose a skirmish mission from Next Generation with 58,000 Command points in the options menu. Select 2 players Federation Vs Romulin. but whereas the Romulins can have 4 war-birds you only have 1, the Ambassador class. Hey presto A re-enactment of a crucial battle in the Trek Universe.

Or the Kobiashi Maru mission, from the Wrath of Khan. Choose Federation Vs Klingon with a Max of 3 ships but you can only have 1 starship, the Constitution Refit class.

There is a classic idea here that has been overlooked by the makers of the game, with a few lines of code I'm sure it would be easy to achieve. Maybe it’s possible for the developers to create an expansion pack for the PC version?

If i remember correctly, all the previews of this game hyped up such possibilites, and even had a re-enactment of the Kirk-Khan match. I think sadly this game was released before a lot of things could be put in and fine tuned.

If you have a pc though, bridge commander is the way to go. Much better than this game... although it doesn't feel as fun when using an nx class to take out enemy ships.
