Bethesda

Is bethesda going to fix the problems with the game

-Un-upgradeable weapons (broken promise)
-True 3D game (not pizza box 3d)
-No way to replay skirmishes
-Fix targetting
-Fix controls (or make them customizeable)

Or are they going to throw in the towel on this one?
I have heard nothing, either way.

And since they lost money on this adventure because of the bad reviews (list above), I don't think they will.

If Bethesda Softworks were, truly, wise then they would put the game in Drydock, and commence UPGRADING & REFITTING, giving it "a proper shakedown!"
Then, they could re-launch it - maybe make the game UNIQUE, by calling it: STAR TREK: Legacy - A, or, STAR TREK: Legacy - 2.0
However, they should put the game in Drydock, and commence UPGRADING & REFITTING, giving it "a proper shakedown!"

I find your lack of faith DISTURBING! {Darth Vader}

STAR TREK LEGACY - A, you say? Very funny. Really. I think, to build STAR TREK LEGACY - E with full REFITTING and especially FIXING ALL THE BUGS, it should be given into other captain's hands, maybe Ubisoft or something...
Honestly, I think it is already decommissed and it won't survive even the first REFITTING.

bleh.

First ST game in a while and it was technically a failure. I can't even find it in the stores anymore.

If some games company where to develop a startrek game similar to Star Trek: The Fallen/Elite Force, but with another feature where you could board ships and commandeer them once taken over by your men, this could be customisable in every such way e.g. Federation/Klingon/Cardassion Boarding teams where you could choose to be a Borg and assimilate people, worlds - entire sectors. Or you could choose to play as a Merchant/Trader/ even Con-man like Mudd trying to get Dilithium in exchange for some beautiful ladies. :) Now this would be a great game.

I had no problem targeting enemies... just hold down Right Bumper and select your target. As for the graphics they were beautiful. If I had to knock something it would be:
(1) Take away auto snap back towards frontal view. This feature is done by pressing down on the right toggle when not near a enemy vessel. It really was frustrating on the asteroid Revelation Mission, I kept accidentally pressing down.
(2) Allow us in multi-player to beam on to Star Bases like we can in the Campaign. Having a Star Base could give us a tactical edge in fire power.
(3) Permit us to move the ship in reverse. The Enterprise in Balance of Terror did this and it saved their lives.
(4) But my greatest sorrow is where is the downloadable content? Mad Dog and Bethesda ignored our pleas. They were so blinded by the bad reviews they didn't stop to think that if they would just fix the issues the game would make a killing. But nooooo... nothing the PC version got all the modes and the X-Box version got ignored. You can't even find the game listed in the X-Box 360 line up if you hunt for it. The only thing is a reference to you- tube. That upset me greatly. What gives why does no one care about the consumer. It's all backwards... don't they understand in order to make money you have to listen to the consumer. Instead they run away... oh we didn't make money owch. Well fix it man. Fix it. Don't run off.
