it would normally just splash and be a pile of goo when hitting the ground.

i know, blabla its a kids movie and the machine is making food out of water and its all meant to be funny illogical, no need to tell me. bacon dna doesnt look like bacon, yeah.

i just want to know if i am the only one totally annoyed that the food didnt just smash itself into pieces, especially the watermelon being more of a meteorite

Why did you watch an animated kids movie with the expectation that it should follow some sort of real-world, realistic physics?

The damaging food was much bigger than regular sized. The amount of force against regular food would make it damaged but with the large mass it just wouldn't break as bad. I have no evidence
