My two year old nephew now likes to kiss that way. He calls them meatball kisses. If you don't ask for a meatball kiss, you won't get a kiss.

it definitely works for a 2 year old. It is cute when he wants a meatball kiss not sure how effective it would be if an adult wanted meatball kisses. If the girl hasn't seen the movie, she might take it the wrong way. :-)
I prefer his meatball kisses to the "I'm-a-dog-and-will-kiss-like-one-too" kisses. Then he licks you like a puppy dog on the cheek. I remind him that I already have 2 dogs. I don't need him to lick my face.
Don't try the puppy kiss approach on a first date. YOu might get a bigger slap than with the meatball kisses approach.
