How It Was Filmed

This cannot have been an easy film to make. Writer-director Philipp Stolzl and cinematographer Kolja Brandt used doubles in long shots in the harshest outdoor conditions, interpolating them into more extensive scenes featuring the leading actors filmed in a refrigerated warehouse.

Oh, is that how they did it? Thanks for the info, Salmonit. :-)

I've just watched it, and was very impressed with the filming. Unlike most mountaineering films, this one didn't have sequences that looked like they were filmed on a set.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

I don't know the technical details of how they did it, but it was brilliantly done IMO.🐭
