The Servant/Service woman at the beginning.

Did anyone notice the servant/service woman at the beginning of the movie in which Amne (Sally) is moving about in the house making sure everything is ready for the move? The servant is in a corner just standing with an ink pot, ready as Anne (Sally) walks by the dip her quill. As she returns from the window she passes the lady still standing in the hall with the ink pot. Was that a statue or was there really someone in this movie hired just for standing there for ink? Lol
