Just got back from the LA premiere!!!

So wow, what a great experience. The movie was funny and awesome. Before the actual screening of the movie, the cast said a few words minus Justin Lin. When they walked off, I told my sister to shout out Sung Kang and she yelled, "Sung Kang, I love you!" Everybody laughed and then someone else said, "Me too!" while another guy said, "Will you marry me?!" to which Roger Fan replied, "YES I WILL!" Really funny stuff. Like I said, it was a great movie with really funny scenes throughout.

I actually won a ticket from AngryAsianMan.com and bought a ticket online for my sister. When we got there we noticed that the 7:30 showing was sold out, the one we bought and the one you have to see to meet the cast and crew. Anyways after the movie the cast did a Q & A and Justin Lin wasn't there because he was doing preproduction for The Fast & the Furious 4. After that was done they did a little quiz thing where they asked like 4 questions and the winner got a t-shirt.

After that they just basically hung around the theater and my sister and I went to take pictures with them. My sister took a picture with Sung Kang, Roger Fan, Dustin Nguyen, and Brian Tee. I took a pic with just Sung Kang and Brian Tee. We were pretty dissapointed with Sung Kang though as he was our favorite actor there and we both agreed he pretty much seemed unhappy to be there or wasn't really interested at all. Brian Tee was such an awesome guy though. His name was in the credits as Mac Chang but I didn't even notice he was in there at all.

All in all, it was a great experience. The only downers were Justin Lin not being there, Sung Kang being kind of a dissapointment, and us getting kind of lost on our way home LOL. There was also a myspace party afterwards but I'm only 19 and I think you have to be 21 to get in. I'm also not a club kind of guy anyways.

checked out the film last night (saturday). justin and the cast and crew were all there. had a great time. the crowd really enjoyed it and everyone stayed for the Q & A, which lasted like 40 minutes. they seem like a tight nit group. i didn't expect the cast and crew to show up at the nuart. fun fun.
