Why the hell does Brett drive a Ferrari?

The guy has $100 million in his private equity fund and he talks about that like it's some huge amount. That is a fart in a hurricane. Good private equity managers have multiple multi-billion funds. I can't imagine Brett has enough cash flow to afford that car. He reminds me of these idiot rappers that have one hit and then buy ten cars, a 10,000 sq ft house, and a jet, then find themselves broke a year later and wonder why. Besides, if any private equity manager drove up in a Ferrari to pitch me, I'd throw his a** out of my office. You don't do that when you're trying to sell people, it looks stupid. He is unbelievably immature, and no amount of bravado is going to cover that up. He is a tool.

He does'nt own the ferrari, in one of the episodes he goes to the exotic car share club he belongs to where he basically "rents" the ferrari or bentley or whatever he wants for the day.

he was looking to buy a porsche at the end of the season - not sure if he bough it though

$100 million is a lot in 4 years of work ever since he left investment banking to start his own fund and go into venture capital. u get to hear him say that in the final ep of season 2.

This post is old, but I could have sworn he said he started it when he was 26, and he's "now" 28 (during taping). Something doesn't add up with him. I just found where the fund he started doesn't exist anymore. Anyone know what happened to it? And no, I'm not interested in his current fund and "philanthropy."
