Part of Lionsgate's J-Horror Series?

Is Retribution part of Lionsgate's J-Horror Series? The first three were Infection, Premonition (my favorite so far), and Reincarnation (directed by Takashi Shimizu - Ju-on). In the special features for Reincarnation (I think), they said there were more films coming. I believe they said it would be 7 movies total, with more of Japan's leading horror directors like Hideo Nakata. So does that make Retribution the 4th installment...with 3 more to come? Its title certainly fits the "-ion" theme. Also, FYI, Lionsgate released Audition (Miike), which I don't think is part of the series due to its release date (though they should definitely include Miike).

It's not exactly Liongates J Horror Series - this they named after the J Horror Theater which was a proposed 6 films.
Infection, Premonition and Reincarnation are the only official films released.
Retribution, along with Kaidan are supposedly part of the series but there is little proof to support that they are.

As of now, there are only 3 official films, 2 unofficial films and a 6th up in the air. The idea has become vaporware so to speak. So you could say Retribution is part of the series, but only the first three are actually known to be so.
