Very oddly done - Not very good at all

This programme mentioned only Goering and Speer. It is also very snide in the way it deals with Speer.

I wouldn't really bother with this. Nuremburg starring Alec Baldwin is much better.

Singing and dancing with nude neo nazis is even better.

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

And Judgment at Nuremberg is even better - as fiction. In case you hadn't noticed, this is supposed to be a documentary.

One scene really made me laugh out loud, though. The interview with the (American) attorney Whitney Harris saying: "That was the greatest thing we got out of Nuremberg - today no nation can wage an aggressive war and get away with it." And the movie is from 2006(!!). When was the last time that guy watched the news...?

True. It's a bit like those optimists who thought that WWI was so terrible that no one would ever fight a war again. I'm afraid it will take at least one more world war before nations are really, REALLY convinced that litigation is preferable to annihilation.

The problem with making light of what was said is that Harris' comments reflect what they thought at the time. No, of course it didn't pan out the way he thought. But the feeling at the end of the trial was that they had responded to barbarity with the legal process. Easy to criticize now - it was huge at the time.
