Is it just me or........

well, okay. yul really is much nicer and sweeter to cg than shin but, really. while watching these episodes, i absolutely HATED him. sorry, but i really did. he was so greedy and selfish. i mean, seriously. i know. love makes us do all these crazy things but he's royal. he should know that cg does not belong him and never will and he has to control his feelings for the good of the country (just like shin's dad). but ohhh well, he gave up in the end :)) so it's alright but i was just so infuriated with him during the latter episodes. and, about the part that peole think shin's being selfish cuz he wants to live with cg forever in the palace cuz he's lonely etc etc...think of it this way, he NEVER wanted to become a prince. he even said that he wanted to be free like a balloon and live his own dreams in life yet he had to give up everything in becoming the crown prince. i mean, what if you had big dreams then suddenly ur just thrust into a situation wherein you have to give up ur dreams for something that you have never wanted in the first place? and he had to live that life for i dunno, almost all ur life? (i don't really know what age they were when shin got the prince position and yul and his mom got thrown out of the palace) plus you can't really blame him for being cold and arrogant because surely i'll be like that too if i had to live a life i didn't want and always being forced to do something i don't want to do. and also living a life full or restrictions and you can't just do anything you want, always having to think about everything you do, and of course not being able to marry the person he really wanted to marry. i mean, in the end, he did fall for cg and all but at first, of course, who wants to marry someone he doesn't know very well, let alone love? not to mention, he used to live a happy and carefree life then suddenly his parents, mom mostly, suddenly becomes like this strict, firm person who didn't even allow her own son/daughter to call her mom. i mean, really. and at least yul had his mother at his aide at all times while shin is just usually surrounded by his bodyguards surely of course he must've felt lonely then he meets cg and his world's turned upside down. and just like he said, he was able to dream again blah blah. and he's not being selfish. in the scene after the fire when cg and shin talk, he says that he will let cg go home after his problem was solved. so in the end, that's not being selfish. and the fact that he can't express his true feelings then to cg was probably because he never expressed his true feelings before or he never showed any affection to anyone. i mean, sure he and hyo-rin were an item before but if you look closely at the scene where he proposed it's like there's no affection at all just, i dunno, admiration? or something.... he didn't even say he wanted to marry her cuz he loved her, right? he never showed any affection to anyone, esp to his stiff and firm parents.

Sooooo...i dunno. is it just me or do any of you also think that even if shin was a jerk at first and yul was the sweet and kind one and all that, still you can't say that shin doesn't deserve cg in the end. I dunno. My heart always went out to him whenever cg's too much and hurts him like in eps 22, 23...
and i never got annoyed with him throughout the series despite his being arrogant at first. HAHAHAHA. I dunno if it's bcuz shin is really my type of guy. the cold and arrogant at first but is really just lonely and is very warm, loving, caring on the inside. Or just my observations throughout watching the series. HAHAHA.

Sorry i just had to release all this out :)) Nyahaha :P
