Unfulfilling gay nuclear family model

I got the impression that when Joni and Laser were drawn to find who their biological father is they were drawn to feel what is it like in having a father figure as well. They wanted to experience it.

The example is when both Julia and Nic think that Lazer is gay by hanging with Clay, who they know is up to no good as a friend. Paul was able to tell that to Laser by hanging with Clay for a few hours. Paul didnt think Laser was gay because he understands the male bro friends mentality. He is just a male figure hanging with his kid but Clay doesnt feel out of place if Lazer would have brought one of his moms to make the skating video.

I feel that when if you have both a boy and a girl as kids its better to have both perspectives of a mother and a father give the kids the fullest upbringing possible. Both gay dads and mothers are able to raise their kids but there are certain things that a dad or a mom not know just because its two different sexes.

Single parent families that are missing mother/father figure. In those cases its known that the kids are missing the input of the other parent. I feel that in the movie it outlines that you can have two same sex parents and the kids would turn alright but its not enough.

So, because you live your life based on some binary system, you think that the rest of the world does? Your view points are both bigotted and incorrect. Your assessment of all-same-sex parents based on one film makes me guess that you have been force fed into believing a lot of lies in your life. Have a nice day

I don't think it was a polite perspective. He also concluded from the film that gay parents are not fit to raise their children because they don't have the perspective of the opposite sex (which is not just bigoted but plain stupid and uninformed)... in real life.

Those are opinions that actually HURT other people so I think it's understandable that we'd get offended by them. Many, many countries (including mine) don't allow gay parents to adopt mainly because of those uneducated opinions.

I interpreted the scenario with Lazer completely different. I thought the only reason he listened to Paul was because he looked up to him and he wasn't a parent. I don't know if you've ever experienced that but there were times where my parents (female and male) would give me advice or tell me that someone was a bad influence and I still wouldn't listen because "parents just don't understand". Paul was an outsider. A grown up he looked up to. Lazer had this fantasy of having a "real dad" and therefor he listened to him. I don't think it was his "male perspective" that had an impact on Lazer. Also, Jules and Nic told him multiple times that they didn't like his friend and that he was a bad influence. Without assuming or indicating that Lazer was gay.

& maybe reread your sentence "you have some growing up to do, gayBOY" and think about if you might be the one who should grow up...
