Until the bit where all the special effects took over the good tension and story. The awful bit with the woman with the screechy voice. Her hanging out the window. The hair about the room. I really enjoyed it, there was good tension, good story, only cheesy in a couple of places. But then after she's told the detective that she read the book, it just goes downhill from there. Gave it a 6/10 coz of the really good bits; if I'd stopped watching 20 mins before the end it would've been an 8/10.
Anyone agree/disagree?

I agree, the end ruined this movie. Also it was never explained why her ear began to bleed, which REALLY annoyed me. 5-6/10 definatly

Oh I see, so you paid no attention to the storyline? Her ear bled cause of the earring that got ripped from it. It was mirrored by the girl who started eating the dogfood.

I disagree. The ending was good. I didn't expect that ending at all. I gave the movie a 9/10.

The ending was terrible. I even started laughing. The whole movie was amazing up until that bit.

Yeah - disagree!!

I thought it was good but average EXCEPT for the last 20 minutes, when it really picked up.

I started and after about 15 minutes of silly dialogue I had to drop it... I give it a 1/10 for now... but i'll try watching it again

I found it to be mediocre

and yeah it kind of goes to hell after the detective thing

I thought it was good until the ending. The ending was a mess.
