Government is an evil entity.
The United States is a Constitutional Republic.
Our founding fathers created a limited government where the PEOPLE have the power, not the politicians.
This is not the case anymore.
Slowly but surely our rights, that countless numbers of people have died to protect, are fading away.
Some Examples:
President Bush has signed executive orders giving him sole authority to impose martial law, and suspend habeas corpus. This gives him dictatorial power over the people, without any checks and balances.
The Government can jail you for life without charges, without a trail, and without a lawyer.
Executive Order #10999: Allows the government to take over all modes of transportation.
Executive Order #11000: Allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision
Executive Order #11921: Provides that the President can declare a state of emergency that is not defined, and Congress cannot review the action for six months.
Senate Bill #1837: Allows the government to vaccinate you with untested vaccines against your will.
The FDA says: "Americans do not have a right to know which foods are genetically modified"
On August 31, 2005 federal judge Emmet Sullivan ruled the government does not have to answer the American people's questions, even though it is guaranteed in the First Amendment.
The IRS constantly puts people in jail for not paying a Federal Income Tax on there wages. There is no constitutional law that requires the common worker to pay a tax on the money they make from working a job. In the Tax law it says that paying Income Tax on wages is voluntary.
The National ID card with Radio Frequency Chips embedded on them, with talk of check points throughout the United States. (Yes its real, and has already been signed into law)
Now there are talks about a North American Union, with a highway running from Mexico, through the United States, into Canada.
I love my country and what it once stood for. However what we have going on in American now, is NOT what the founding fathers had in mind. Restore the constitution, restore the Constitutional Republic. The PEOPLE are supposed to control government in this country, that's why it is supposed to be so great. Government is once again controlling the people, that's not the way America was designed.
Those who seek office seek power, and those who seek power are inherently corrupt.
You're wrong about the National ID cards. What they are is not like the papers of the Communists, but more of an enhanced security card for federal programs and buildings. What it states is that you cannot take part, or visit federal buildings, or travel on federally funded planes without the federal card.
This means that nuclear power plants, federal buildings and planes will soon be off limits to those who do not have proper authority to be there.
To anyone else, never take what someone says as fact, research what they say and decide for yourself.

AS a general rule I don't even bother replying to folks who spout tin-hatter type propaganda, but wanted to add my hat into the ring to support Fletcherwyla.
Nothing wrong with checking politically-based sites with their own agenda, but before you go believing everything they spout, VERIFY it -or you will only look like a fool, but will at least have the satisfaction of counting any and all who choose to hate our country as 'friends'. Not much of a gain in my book, but hey, to each his own.
