Are probably my favorite comedies and both are grossly overrated.
Definitely some of the best comedic movies of all time.

Change that to "underrated" and I'm with you. It just takes a special kind of fan. Lol.
(FTR: I'm 42, divorced/single, chick....the fans of these movies reach far and wide. I assume you have also seen Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Big Lebowski, etc....)

I do think Tropic Thunder is overrated, but I agree that Dewey Cox is way underrated. Everybody is great.

Eh. Tropic Thunder I could do without. It's just rich celebrities mugging for the camera at how funny they think they are (well, mostly Tom Cruise, I guess). This film had much more charm.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.
