i agree, i felt that this movie along Forgetting Sarah Marshall were his better works. Superbad was good but still not to the caliber of Walk Hard.

seriously....

this movie is a *beep* diamond in the ruff as far as I'm concerned
one of the funniest movies I've seen in a very very long time
it actually used cleaver humor and laugh out loud goffyness AS WELL AS some sexual jokes, instead of just one retarded sex joke after another. And it didn't have that annoying douche-bag Seth Rogan. Seth Rogan doesn't even *beep* come close to the hilarity of John C. Rylie.
Superbad, Knocked up.....good but a little generic for me

this was nice and fresh and original
a rare gem in the parody movie genre.

This is by far Apatow's best. One of my favorite comedies of all time. Reilly was perfect in the role and all of the songs are actually good and better than most of the sanitary pop *beep* put out now.

Absolutely not crazy - Walk Hard is absolutely hilarious!!!!

I only have to think of a scene from the film and I burst into a fit of giggles!!

"You know who has hands? The Devil! And he uses them fer holdin'!"

I could watch this film every week and STILL find it as funny as the first viewing.

It's one of my favorite comedies, too, it's funny and witty at once. I can't think of much that comes close except The Princess Bride.

I think you're right OP. I found it much funnier than anything else he has done. Im a fan of almost all his work too.

This is absolutely Apatow's best by far. Even the horrible Jonah Hill couldn't ruin it. If he couldn't say the F-word he'd have nothing to say.
