Watched it with no subtitles

It was a little screening at the college I'm attending during the summer. IDK if there were subtitles or not but he was using the DVD and there were no subtitles at all and yet, I still felt like I understood everything perfectly well. IDK what it was, but the way they were acting just made everything very understood.

BRAVO

I still also really liked the film too.

Cool. Would you like a cookie now?

Dang, white magic. That was rude.

I totally get the no subtitles thing. I live in South Korea and can't really read Korean; I'm watching the movie now and there are no English subtitles when the people are speaking French.

People don't realize how much they actually rely on subtitles and may not even notice them but when you don't have subtitles to absorb, you realize how much dialog in another language there is that you don't understand.

Sorry, I just thought you were bragging about your adeptness with foreign languages. I agree with what you're saying. Every language and culture has their nuances, which cannot be translated easily, and which are further made inaccessible when the viewer is busy reading subtitles instead of body language of the movie characters.

I'm sure you could follow the story without subtitles, but I think you may have missed much of the humor. The funniest lines were spoken in French, IMO

dang, guess i will rewatch it then. Thanks. :)
