How can I get a copy of this film?

To whom it may concern:

I saw this wonderful film at a Latin film festival two years ago in Redwood City. I thought the film was wonderful and I think of it often - but I cannot locate a copy. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

The DVD has been released in Mexico. It's region 1 and 4, so it's compatible with US DVD players. You can order it from Ebay, or from the Gandi, which is an Amazon-type shopping site in Mexico:

I forgot to mention, it does have subtitles, both in English and in Spanish. And people who like this movie might also like Alamar, another Mexican movie in a similar style: slow-paced, documentary-style, very warm and human, and full of beautiful nature scenes.
