You just gotta love it .....

.... okay, so this film has its faults .... but most do ... get over it!
It's hard to fault a movie thats made for no budget, if you feel so inclined try doing it youself.

Full marks for putting honest Scottish dialogue on screen .... too bad the lead character, Mike Mitchell (WFF more like WTF), wasn't homegrown talent.

(Recommend: steroids + English accent = killed off in first 5 minutes)

Anyway, I'm off to the beach with my cam and a few ideas for a sequel

Hi, thanks' for the comments. You didn't just say, 'what was that bollocks?'

I was the producer and production designer on that one and you're right it was made for 14p a bag of crisps and *beep* of hard work from all involved. The movie did manage to get the production company noticed though and the director is currently on a 2 film deal (still low budget, but 6 figure sort of low budget) which is not bad from a movie made in a sand pit with a few scotch blokes.

Good luck with any movie you make and have fun.

Mike Clark

i've only watched the first half, yet don't believe that my opinion will be altered by the rest. i walked out of one of the spidermans at the theatre, this is better than movies costing over 50 mill. tough to even track the movie down on imdb. amazed about the cost of the film. don't trash it! don't you know that scotland is going to be the wave of the future in film, as australia was? acting is no worse than a c for most, b for a few. special effects aren't that bad, hell, i didn't know it was a beach. no seagulls, were there? rented it off a grocery store machine at 2 for $1.05. over $6 at a theatre no. half of that no problem. i think a scottish crew was cool. don't like it, you can look under their kilts!

I enjoyed this movie and agree completely with the sentiment that there are numerous huge budget films that were not nearly as entertaining as this one. I think they did a great job with what they had to work with.
