To all the American Haters because of this movie

It as rude and disrespectful of you to blame an entire country for any of your grievances as it would be for us to blame yours' for something. Clearly you have not lived enough in the world to realize that in every group/culture/people there are many different kinds.

Instead of blaming the American people (because last I checked no one was turning my scripts into movies so I clearly couldn't have had a hand in this) try narrowing it down to those responsible. And then once you do, try opening up your mind a bit and determining if there really is a reason to take offense or if perhaps you are being a bit too sensitive.

Had the ritual performed been done so with any kind of humor or parody, I would fully understand being upset. But given the respect shown and the admiration felt for it, I find the red eyed fury to be completely excessive.

You can no more claim to speak for all your people than we can. People are people. We can spend our lives looking for things to get angry about or we can look for the good and promote that. I felt that's what the filmmakers were ultimately trying to do, find all the good and right and strong in this sad world and spread it about, hopefully doing something good.

Dont worry, the cry babies dont speak for all of us Kiwi's.

Im fine with other people do a Haka aslong as they do it right. If not then it is a bit of an insult because it says to me that they didn't bother to learn it properly. To do anything right in life you have to learn how to do it properly.

But this film performed it completely right. Apart from the Ringa Pakeha part(I lol everytime i hear those parts) it all folded out well and it showed that the boys who performed it became more and more disciplined and unified which is exactly what a Haka is meant to do.

I liked how the Maori character Tumo spoke very good Maori and explained the Haka to the lead character and i liked the enthusiasm of the other players as they performed the Haka and how they said, "Kia Kaha" perfectly.

Not all people are the same. You can like some things or hate some things and sometimes people dont agree with what you like and hate. Those people shouldn't control your life.
If you cant handle your own life, dont try to handle someone else.

Brother H....Do you even know what the translation of Ka Mate is? They totally made up what the Haka translates to in english. Personally that is my only problem with how they use the Haka in this movie. Just do a google search of the translation of Ka Mate and you'll see how far off this 'translation' was. Other than that its a great movie. I am a NZer who now lives in Utah and I thought it was very well done. I can also say that in my opinion Rugby is starting to have a very high profile in Utah as a well respected sport.
