Used the worst part of the first film

Of course, I am referring to the turning back of time by spinning the Earth backwards. What an incredibly inane idea that spinning the Earth backwards makes time go backwards. So fkn stupid. All this because he doesn't want to reveal his identity? There is a good chance Lois will eventually figure it out again so why not simply just have her know? But besides them removing the arm wrestling scene in the hick town (Is that you Boog?), this is the only thing I really dislike with the Donner version. It is far superior than the theatrical version in every other way.
