He needs glasses?!

How the hell did he survive that long without seeing anything. He did he shoot all those people with out his glasses?

Actually, it is a valid point that the OP makes. The film made it seem like he was near-sighted which definitely would have interfered with his accuracy of shot. It does make you think twice about it. Though, I think part of it was luck and part of it was a bizarre alertness that he seemed to possess. And maybe his eyesight was not as poor as the film made it appear.
I don't think your (quite nasty) sarcasm was called for; I've always wondered why people are so compelled to be rude and condescending, especially on message boards.

People are probably compelled to be so rude and condescending because of the assured anonymity of a message board. One can say whatever they want, no matter how offensive, and the only repercussions that are going to happen for said comment, is that the account will be suspended and/or canceled. However it doesn't stop the user from creating a new account.

But to address the glasses thing, he may not be able to tell features or who someone is, but if he just points at the center of the talking/running blob then he should be able to shoot it. He owned many guns and had that diagram all drawn up, so he was probably a decent shot.

I concure. But there was also quite a few times he missed. for instance the guy having the bbq who thought it was fire works. David shot at him several times and all he hit was the water tank and ground in front of him

Also I think it is symbolic of David Gray's skewed view of the world around him and his unbalanced mental state.
