TNT should be ashamed of themselves...

Heartland and Treat Williams should never have been canceled TNT will most certainly regret this decision! I'm sure Treat will land on his feet and become a doctor in another series in the years to come.

I would just like to leave you with a few things I have learned from Heartland...

1.) Although we've learned this in other series', Hospitals are great places to start romances which are often long term and very functional relationships.

2.) Surgeons that suffer from hallucinations often perform even better than their fellow doctors.

3.) Instead of thinking of how to save a life it is instead a better idea to think of how to use the potential donor's organs instead.

4.) A good way to gain respect from your superiors is to constantly inquire about your fellowship.

5.) In the midst of a crisis, for instance a school shooting involving multiple victims, take the day off to go do a cannonball in a lake...especially if it's a beautiful day.

6.) In order to spice up sexual tension between co-workers make sure the relationships are interracial.

7.) It is highly encouraged to drink heavily the night before a record breaking surgery.

8.) In tense and awkward situations involving co-workers reading poems aloud will often distill the awkwardness.

9.) A good way to say good-bye to your cancerous lungs is to sing cheesy Simon and Garfunkel songs just before surgery.

10.) Nathaniel Grant (Treat Williams) still can lead a hospital effectively even though he has a sexual relationship with the majority of the nurses, has drunken outbursts openly in front of co-workers, and drinks large bottles of whiskey after major surgeries...alone.

Thank you Heartland. I will miss you on my Monday nights while I, too, have concluded my day of work and only a bottle of whiskey is my friend.
