A complete waste of talent
first off i am an artist/animator
and i am a huge zombie film fanatic
so i consider my self one who is worthy of passing judgement on a project like this that i would consider doing my self.
Id like to say i think as far as the environment of the movie and all the angles used this guy did a great job , he is a good artist.I cant say as much for the character art or animation because save for some of the zombies they all looked terrible.
This guy put so much effort into something that was clearly not well thought out or planned
If you are going to make a feature length animation you need to map it out and make sure you aren't going to be reusing the same animations over and over and you arent gonna be putting people to sleep.
if you watch this film you will notice that all of the zombie deaths were almost all the same animations reused over and over.
with an approach like this you are bound to bore people after the first few death scenes
(less mass death scenes via machine gun and "walker" and more thought out unique death scenes would have done a great deal for this flick)
My biggest complaint was the voice acting and character choice.
Not that anyone with common sense would think an old man with a walker could make a good main character but if like the creator of this film you felt enclined to do so you might want to first secure yourself an old man to do the voice instead of doing it your self and coming off like a joke and making all your hard work look so much more terrible than it already does.
This guy should of taken a little more time out to animate his characters better and write a decent screen play and story board before he wasted what seems like months of his life on a pile of animated garbage.
Better luck next time.
well thats all im gonna say because im really looking forward to seeing what anyone else has to say about this film
Son of perdition. Little horn! Swine! Most unclean!
;I do miss the old names.
