Not getting good reviews....


whilst i havent seen the film, supposedly it is not getting good reviews

its not really a review is it? just some peoples comments on the script they saw - may not have even been a final draft. perhaps best to wait and see the film when it comes out and then make an opinion. the whole article seems like a bit of a spoiler to me.

Such an important topic merited a much better screenplay, a more thought through narrative, music, acting etc. It's instead a shoddy attempt at a movie. Doesn't flow at all. The melodrama seems at a level of a high school play. The background score is pedestrian. A couple of lead actors try hard, but there's a random French journalist with unbottoned T-shirt that does nothing overall. Kal Penn's hindi accent notwithstanding, even his colorful shirts can't save the film from being the ordinary mess it is. You asked.
