comedy network - happy holidays canada!
canada - what did you get us comedy network?
comedy network - keys to the vip.
canada - what's that?
comedy network - one of the worst tv shows ever.
canada - aww! again? that's what you give us every year actually that's what you give us many times a year. actually come to think of it that's all you ever give us!
comedy network - yep. but what about reruns of u.s. shows?
canada - well some of those are good.
comedy network - that's good enough for me. i have to go spend some more of your tax dollars now.
canada - what are you buying?
comedy network - us tv executives are going on a shopping spree and then on a cruise because we did such a great job again this year. then we're blowing the rest on a "girls will be girls" slash "punched up" slash "keys to the vip" slash "jeff limited" new years eve special. "jeff ltd" takes "girls will be girls" to a club then charges the "keys to the vip" guys $5 to dance with them because they're so sexy. then the "punched up" guys show up and pretend to improvize with a toronto argonaut.
canada - sounds like a terrible idea.
comedy network - we know! lucky for us it doesn't matter. we still get paid and if we were going to get fired we would have by now.
canada - ever think about putting somebody in charge over there who actually has a sense of humour?
comedy network - a sense of what?
canada - HUMOUR!
comedy - hugh more?
canada - you should be ashamed of yourself.
comedy network - *shrugs* i have to go now because all the other executives here are laughing really loud at these reruns of club 54 from 1986 so i want to go see what's so funny.... oh hey it's the joke of the day! turn it up guys, i hope it's one i haven't already seen 50 times.
