Why This Failed

1. Bad idea for a title. Sounds like a western or a pirate movie. I know, they explained that it was the name of the book series Sarah edited, named after Coco's imaginary friend, or something to that effect, but it really just wasn't a good title for a comedy show. Everytime it was mentioned in the TV promos, I'd go "What?" It wasn't catchy.

2. Either make a multi-cam laugh track show or a single-cam none-laugh track show, but don't try to have it both ways! I think the show was clearly written as a single-cam show (given how quick the dialogue went, ala Gilmore Girls), and the laugh track felt forced.

3. Parker Posey was WAY too over the top. Was she trying to imitate Lauren Graham?
