i never even knew this aired!

well, i don't really follow any shows on fox, but i never saw an ad or any promotion for this show. i would have definitely tuned in since i had heard about the show, and being a fan of the two main actresses and gilmore girls, was really looking forward to it.

I love Parker Posey, and was anxious to watch this, but it was pulled before I had a chance. Might have something to do with the fact that it was on Friday nights.

You're not alone in not knowing this was on. But, consider the network!! I can't think of any other network that pulls shows as quickly. Even "Smith" made it 7 episodes on ABC!!!

Smith was on CBS. I too didnt know this aired. Damn, I heard about it and just saw this again while looking up Ambrose.

I hate how IMDb signatures look like part of the post.

I didn't know it aired either. I watched them on fancast to support it. It really was bad though.

Generally when a network plops a new show onto the Friday night lineup, its because they don't see much hope for it & figure it'll die a kind of death there, ratings-wise, justifying its cancellation. As for promotions, heck if they don't hold much hope for a show they might do AN ad or 2, maaaaybe some print ads. But, again, they figure its not worth the trouble.

Now I'm no Parker Posey scholar but from her flicks I HAD seen, the show's material seemed so beneath her. Like having Kevin Branaugh star in the title role of @#$ My Dad Says So it didn't surprise when the show was canned after 3 episodes. Hell, I was glad when it went!

That's weird that this got axed but 'Accidentally on Purpose' got a full season.
