It wasn't very good but, c'mon, only three episodes is downright cruel

I was really excited by the casting of Lauren and Parker, two consistently interestng and charming actresses. It didn't start off very well and work had to be done to sort out the chemistry and the tone of the show but, seriously, giving it only 3 episodes was ridiculous and a terrible blow for everyone involved, why the hell didn't they give it more of a shot of trying to adapt in order to survive?

Because it was a crap. It is a shame that they wasted money making episodes that they made. I mean people who order TV shows are retards. Script was crap, so I can't see how somebody said:"Let's make this."

its the laugh track. I've decided its the laugh track. Amy Sherman-P does not do laugh-tracks, her humor is too subtle. Was it Fox that decided to make it sit-com-esque? its just wrong for her kind of humor, its off and puts the whole thing off

Actually, Amy Sherman did work on a lot of "Roseanne" episodes as producer and maybe also writer. It was her choice to film "Jezebel James" as a sitcom.
