Julia's Original Story
Diego Moreno is a 30-year-old man who works as a salesman in a store which sells clothes for men and who has been an innate tailor for years. Diego has not been able to create a life of his own yet, and having recently broken up with his fiancée, he goes back , on a temporary basis, to his parents’ house, where he is not welcomed as he had expected to be. He has not only been left, but he has also been embezzled by his former fiancée; therefore, all of his loving is devoted to his family, and to his friends, Ferchu and Paco.
Shortly after he goes back to his parents’ house, Diego meets Julia Malaguer Podestá, with whom he falls in love. Julia, however, is engaged to, and about to get married with Mauricio Doval, a successful businessman who hides, behind his zealous defence of organic and natural products, some very fishy business affairs. Diego and Julia have a brief encounter; yet, due to various circumstances, each one will be following his and her own way and they feel that they will never see each other again. Yet, this will not be so.
Diego becomes a very close friend of Martina Manzur’s, a woman who has lost her small son two years earlier and who believes that, somehow or other, Mauricio is to blame for that death. Martina finds no comfort that will assuage her pain and she makes up her mind to kill Mauricio. Diego finds out about her plans and , in order to prevent her from committing a crime, ends up saving Mauricio’s life.
As from that moment, Mauricio wants Diego to go and work for him, almost as if he were an amulet of good luck, and he does not stop until he accomplishes his objective. Only when Diego accepts and enters his house, does he find out that Julia is this man’s wife. At the very beginning, Diego is totally unaware of Diego’s true face; however, little by little, he will start learning about Mauricio’s business dealings and fishy affairs. Although, by then, knowing this will become too much of a burden for him. And when he feels like leaving the place, he will realize this is not possible. At least, it will not be possible for him to leave alive.
Besides, Diego will not dare to leave Julia by herself in the midst of a danger she still is unable to see. Julia does not know who Mauricio truly is, and she has taken her own father, Alfredo Malaguer, to work with him; he is a well-known scientist whom Mauricio had been after even before meeting Julia. Mauricio needs his scientific knowledge in order to carry out some ambitious and dirty plans. Diego will find himself before a dilemma: whether to compromise with the reality that he is facing and therefore, take advantage of it, or else to fight from within hell itself in order to change this reality.
