Too insane to be scary...

I'm watching this now and I can't believe how unbelievable it is. This movie goes out of its way to keep the viewer from being drawn in with its so many distracting elements.

1. The idiot driving the Mustang down what looks like a one lane driveway. Doesn't even qualify as a road and he's doing 80. Cop gets behind him and he drives faster? Then he says he's trying to slow down? What the hell? Cop doesn't stop him but passes him will doing 100.

2. Map doesn't make sense. Geography doesn't make sense. No interstate 82 in Alabama. No highway 82 in Alabama.

3. They take the busty chick out of the cocktail dress.

4. Whiny couples separate at drop of hat. Everybody is ok with staying in a dark deserted bed and breakfast with no other people. No one tries to leave. No one is put off by the behavior of the staff.

5. The other guy, the busty chick's beau knows where to go gives orders and is running around opening doors and cabinets as if he's been there before. I get him not being faithful to his girl but that eager to leave her behind seemed wrong.

This is what happens when Christians decide to make a horror movie.

It was like somebody saw movies like The Shining and other psychological horror flicks and decide to try and replicate that style but with a crappy story.

The acting, the direction, etc. are passable. The script and story kill it.
