I thought it was pretty good

I wasnt blown away by it, but i thought they did a good job with the movie to the point where i dont think you can really be disappointed with the movie unless youre easliy offended in which case, well, it wasnt really made for you was it?

I was at the midnight madness screening, and the story about the genesis of the project - how it was pretty *beep* good but had a shacky middle till they added some twists... made a lot of sense, and im glad the film makers were so honest about it, cause i picked up on it right away - not the twist but why certain things in the film existed.

If the film makers were worried it'd feel hocky, well it doesnt its fine, and its still solid - not a perfect film by any stretch of the imagination but a strong genre piece that stands on its own - its alot better then most of the horse *beep* out there right now -

and who doesnt love peter jackson/poltergiest inspired monster creations? and the winks at the audience, it just worked for what it was -

i still find it hard to believe however the budget was all that low condsidering the lab work that print went through - dodging that audience members question - COME ON! lol. either way - good first attempt and you prolly have a theater full of people waiting on river of blood!

cheers.

i thought it was good as well. i was a little skeptic for the first half of the film but the twist at the end made it make sense and worth while. im also lookin forward to his next film.
