I was watching "Time Bandits" the other day, and Evil's monsters look remarkably similar to the demons in this movie. I wonder if they were the inspiration because they look almost the same except the ones in "The Devil's Chair" are obviously scarier.

I designed the creature, and the Horse monsters in Time Bandits were absolutely an inspiration, they were the scariest things I'd ever seen when I was young and we agreed we should do a creepy, diseased version for the 'Chair' demon. Good call.

Very impressive. I liked the way that the skull for the creature was almost horse-like.

i thought it looked like a cross of the lame monster from "House on Haunted Hill" and the alien from ofcourse "Aliens" but thats just me
