I actually find myself watching it

When I saw the initial previews for this show, I didn't have a whole lot of faith---there were a couple of jokes that were okay, but still. And, after dreadful Sarah Silverman Program, I was loosing faith in Comedy Central already. But lately I've actually been finding myself watching most of the episodes of this show that come on. It reminds me somewhat of the humour of The Office, though obviously not nearly as sharp---perhaps its just the lack of a laugh track that I'm finding similar---it's almost a solid fact to me now that laugh tracks completely ruin tv sitcoms; some of the best shows out right now are laugh track free: Scrubs, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm and lets not forget the late, great Arrested Development.

Halfway Home will probably never be on par with any of these shows but I definitley see a lot of potential. Eulogio, Carly, Alan and Kenny seem to be the real treasures on this show and more times than not, tend to crack me up to no end.

I avoided it, but saw an ep the other day. The "new guy" and it was amusing.

Yeah, maybe thats the best way to look at it. Amusing. It isn't a GREAT show, but by no means a BAD one---one of the best new shows on Comedy Central in a long while.

Sabastian is the best character and this is a pretty good show the last episode about the GED was hilarious

And being gay doesn't make one overly flamboyant...and being black doesn't make one ghetto...and being a pyro doesn't make someone obsessed with fire...wait...

It is a pretty decent show, though -- its kept me watching.

I certainly didn't expect to love it as I came to. I just watched it as kind of a funny, brainless thing at first, but now I love it so much.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I agree. I now try to make it a point -- when I can -- to watch this show. Never thought I would do that. All the characters are great and I love Carly to death.

Ahh, I can't believe the season finale is next week already! I sure hope it comes back again

Maybe this is just wishful thinking but it does say "Season Finale" not "Series Finale." Hopefully that means it was picked up for another season. Fingers crossed, though.

I didn't like the Silverman show, either. Something about it...I don't know...too self conscious or something...she's not silly enough or willing to make herself look the fool or something.
